
Sarlahi—Following a dispute between a patient’s party and Golden Hospital in Barhathwa, Sarlahi, Madhesh Province, Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh visited the site and discovered that all 11 hospitals operating in Barhathwa Bazaar are functioning without meeting legal standards.
Chief Minister Singh stated that none of the private hospitals in the major commercial hub of southwestern Sarlahi are operating in compliance with government regulations.
After identifying that these 11 private hospitals and polyclinics are running illegally and without proper registration, he ordered them to shut down immediately. The hospitals include:
Sankat Mochan Hospital
Sanjeevani Hospital
Happy Hospital
Sarlahi Golden Hospital
Venus Hospital
Hanumanta Hospital
Barhathwa Navjeevan Hospital
And four other polyclinics.
According to Santosh Thakur, Public Health Officer at the Ministry of Health and Population of Madhesh Province, the hospitals have been issued official letters instructing them to cease operations immediately until they fulfill registration and compliance requirements.
Chief Minister Singh has recently intensified hospital inspections across cities in Madhesh Province, where numerous private health institutions have been found violating standards.
